Winter has made its two week appearance and "Baby it is cold outside", but inside the Sue Line Crew was active as usual. Marvin Bennett (above) is switching his train northbound local in Brandon while taking photos of what he is doing. It this multi-tasking? Charles Kneipp (above) was also on the mainline. The northbound coal train (Train 901) is about to enter Ferne Junction. Lionel Brangham (above) is checking out his train before leaving I-49 Yard in Blanchard for a trip south. Doran McQuery (far above, left) is switching his mainline train in North Park. Mose Crews (far above, right) is working a cut of cars in I-49 East yard in Blanchard. Doran McQuery was assisted by his daughter Emily McQuery (above) who was "taking a break". Rob Robbins (above) is waiting for his next train assignment. Rounding out the engineer crew was Ken Ellison (above, file photo). Ken not only ran trains, but he also took photos of the session- Many thanks. Ken however, forgot to get a shot of himself! Mose Crews (above) was the Alexandria Yard operator this evening. Jim Willis (above) was busy as the Sue City Operator and the Shreveport Public Belt Line. Charlie DeVillbiss is busy switching in the Lake Hamilton Paper Mill as the Maryville Operator. Once again, Danny Garland was the Shreveport Yard operator and kept his WiiThrottle busy setting up trains. SHOTS ALONG THE WAY......... A coal drag (above) pulled by a KCS SD70ace is slowly entering I-49 East Yard in Blanchard. A south bound tank train (Train 70) switches the Doran Oil & Gas (DOG) in Sherwood.
