With Richard Kamm home after the automobile accident in which he broke his neck, the Sue Line Group was back in action. Led by Ken Ellison (below with Train 48), himself recovering from right knee surgery, let's follow  some trains.

AMTRAK TRAIN 48

Following the Christmas Special, it was back to "usual" for Amtrak.
We first see Train 48 at the depot in Sue City (above).

Just south of Sue City, we see Train 48 at Crawley's Ridge.

Next we see Train 48 as it passes through Robert's Crossing.

Here we see Train 48 as it enters the tunnel just south of Leming.

After a brief stop at the depot in Maryville, Train 48 is ready to leave.

Train 48 is seen moving through North Park. Rail fans frequent this spot.

Train 48 passes through the woods north of Jeauxville.

SUE LINE TRAIN 111

Train 111, a northbound local, is sitting on the siding at Leming
as a southbound manifest freight passes by on the mainline.

Train 111 passes by the old depot in Robert's Crossing.

Train 111 enters Sue City for a long night of switching.

TRAIN 76, A NORTHBOUND CONTAINER TRAIN.

Train 76 is initially seen near the depot in Brandon.

Upon arrival in Robinson, Train 76 takes a cut of cars up the branch to Shattuck.

The remainder of Train 76 is still in Robinson.

While switching, Train 76 has cars everywhere in Robinson.

Here we see the length of Train 76,
as the locomotive heads out of town.

Train 76 has left Robinson, and is seen in the south end of Sue City.

Train 76 is leaving Sue City.

Train 76  enters Robert's Crossing.

We next see Train 76 on the long trestle just north of Jeauxville.

to take it to Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
