Tonight was Ginnings Yard Master Marvin Bennett, Jr.'s (below) birthday and a good time was had by all. As usual, Marvin Bennett, Jr. was surrounded by Chessie System motive power. Shreveport Yard Master David Durham (above, right) was assisted by his daughter Abby (above, left). River Front Yard Master Danny Garland (above) kept trains moving in his yard. The Maryville Operator (MopOp), Charlie DeVillbiss (above) was busy as usual. The Sue City Operator (SCO) Jim Willis (above) also kept busy. Sue Line mainline engineers included Lionel Brangham (above) who has returned from working on the Senior Olympics. Along with Sue Line mainline engineer Rob Robbins (above) and NoLaCRA mainline engineer David Colvin (above). Richard Kamm (above) was also on hand as a mainline engineer for the Sue Line. THERE WILL BE NO POSTINGS FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS AS MY WIFE, SUE, AND I WILL BE IN FLORIDA WITH THREE OF OUR GRAND CHILDREN. |
