April 5th- Joe Comes Home for Easter

Post date: Apr 08, 2012 5:53:15 PM

My youngest son, and only modeler, Joseph (below) came in for Easter. Joe and his wife, Rebecca had great news- Sue and I will soon again be grandparents. They announced that Lillian Eve Kamm would be joining them the next time the family come home. Lillian is expected about 8/20.

The group was tired from all the work last week and ready to have some fun- Let's run trains.

Mose Crews (above, left) is patiently waiting while the grain train (Train 603) occupies all of the mainline in Shreveport. We also see Mose Crews (above, right) when life is slower and quieter in Shreveport.

Lionel Brangham (above) is busy with his WiiThrottle working the

Shreveport Public Belt Lines in Keithville.

Paul Harwell (above) took over the duties of

Sue City Switcher for the evening.

A common scene, only backwards--

Matt Tessier (above, foreground) is the Marville Operator and

Rob Robbins (above, background) is the mainline operator.

Here we see Matt Tessier (above, left) waiting for

Ron Brannon (above, right) to complete

his switch moves in Maryville.

Danny Garland (above) was the "Keeper of the Ring" this session

as he used the RailPro system by Ring Engineering.

Marvin Bennett, Jr. seems to be having fun as he switches Robinson.

Ken Ellison (above, right) is using his WiiThrottle to bring a train into

Sue City where Paul Harwell (above, left) is waiting to help.

Rodney Dixon (above) is checking his train in

Alexandria Yard before leading north bound.

Here we see Joseph Kamm (above) has taken the

RailPro system for a run on the mainline.

Let's see now-

We have Joe switching at Jeauxville.

Joseph also took photos this session- Thanks Joe.

Proud grandfather, Richard Kamm, (above) is taking it easy as the Dispatcher.

SHOTS ALONG THE WAY....

The Sue City Switcher waits for trains to stop by.

The south bound local takes the siding

as the mainline north sound roars by.

The Alexandria Yard switcher moves by the

SD50's awaiting their run north to Shreveport.
