June 14th- Another Night of Fun

Post date: Jun 19, 2012 11:25:41 AM

Coming soon.

I know everyone is waiting (See below).

I have been out of town visiting my grandchildren.

Thanks for waiting, it looks like Charlie DeVillbiss (above, right), Rodney Dixon (above, center) and Lionel Bragham (above, left) have had all the fun the can stand. Let's go back to the beginning of the evening.

Mose Crews (above) has taken on the job of Shreveport Yard Master.

Tonight it was really a job as someone had left over 40 cars to be

sorted and stored in the yard.

Here we see a happier Charlie DeVillbiss as he starts to get

cars moving as the Sue City Switcher.

Danny Garland (above) is using his trusty WiiThrottle

to help him as the Maryville Operator (MOp).

Jim Willis (above) appears to be working a

pretty long string of cars in Alexandria Yard.

Lionel Brangham (above) appears to be enjoying his run as a mainline engineer.

Here we see that his Southbound Freight is just pulling into Pinecrest.

Marvin Bennett Jr. (above) appears to be content with

his northbound train as it crosses the basqule bridge into Sherwood.

Ken Ellison (above) is pulling a  Northbound Freight out of Alexandria Yard.

It seems that every week, Ken Ellison gets a CSX train. Could it be he likes the CSX?

Once again, Ken Ellison took the good pictures

used this week and I took the rest of them.

Rodney Dixon appears to be taking a Northbound

Sue Line train into Alexandria Yard.

David Colvin (above, left) was the dispatcher for the evening and

Rob Robbins (above, left) was a mainline engineer. It appears they

are discussing something about JMRI.

It appears that Richard Kamm (above) is busy dispatching trains,

but this is actually from after the session and he is chasing down

some more of the "undocumented features" a/k/a "bugs" in

the code that keep the trains running.

SHOTS ALONG THE WAY......

A Northbound NoLaCRA local freight is crossing

the bascule bridge and coming into Sherwood.

A Northbound Sue Line local freight waits for a signal at Richardson.

A Southbound coal drag runs along the shore of Lake Kathryn.

Here's hoping everyone had a

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY.
