September 6th- Robert Della-Pietra Visits

It had been way too long, but finally Robert Della-Pietra was back with the Sue Line crew. Robert Della-Pietra has a day job in Chicago with the BNSF. It was good to have him visit.

Marvin Bennett, Jr. (above) was busy on the Shreveport Public Belt Line in Keithville.

Danny Garland (above) was in charge of the Shreveport Yard.

Charlie DeVilbiss (above) was busy all night in Sue City

as the Sue City Operator.

Mose Crews (above) was working the Maryville Operator position

and doing trouble shooting of the printer system.

Hurricane Issac was gone, but Jim Willis (above) was

on the job as the Alexandria Yard Master.

Rodney Dixon (above) was busy with a north bound

extra board train leaving Sue City.

Rob Robbins (above, right) can run the mainline with his eyes closed!

Paul Harwell (above, left) is busy getting paper work.

RailOps and monitoring trains in Underworld.

One of the major shippers in Shreveport is the B & E Enterprises fruit plant (above).

The B & E (above) was originally known as-

Brannon and Ellison- Two Fruits,

but changed for obvious reasons!
