Post date: Jun 22, 2012 11:26:7 AM

It seemed like old times. Almost the whole group of operators was on hand. Could it be that they all sensed what was happening tonight or was it just coincidence?

Thanks to some hard work by members of the Sue Line Crew,

the first official units ran in the Third District (above).

David Colvin was at the throttle using the SPROG to power the

two Santa Fe units as then entered the third district for the first time.

After savoring the first run of units on the Third District,

David Colvin took the controls as the dispatcher for the evening.

The Call Board was full of engineers, so let's get going.

Jim Willis (above) took the controls in Alexandria as the

Yard Master for the session.

Richard Kamm (file photo above) was the Northpark Switcher

and the "Keeper of the Ring" using the Ring Engineering GP-38

to switch in Northpark. Richard Kamm also took the photos

for this session and, like others before him, forgot to get a

shot of himself.Luckily, he supplied a file photo of himself.

Danny Garland (above), with his WiiThrotle in his hand, took

on the chores of the Maryville Operator (MOp).

Jason Busey (above) stepped up to take on the job

of the Sue City Switcher.

Mose Crews (above) was keeping the trains moving as he

kept Shreveport Yard  traffic on time.

The Regular Mainline Crews were busy all night.

Here we see Paul Harwell (above) switching his train

in Maryville.

Rob Robbins (above) is working his Northbound Mainline Train.

Ken Ellison (above) appears to be enjoying his

Southbound Mainline Train as he switches Brandon.

Lionel Brangham (above) is hard at work with

his Northbound Mainline Train in Northpark.

Charles Kneipp (above) is either enjoying his

Northbound Extra Board Train at Richardson or

getting ready to play linebacker for

the New Orleans Saints.

Back for a session from college, Matt Tessier is

enjoying his Southbound Coal Extra in Northpark.

Marvin  Bennett Jr. (above) is checking his

Southbound Extra Train as it pulls through Leming.

Rodney Dixon (above)  is enjoying the two trains meeting at Robinson.
