August 26th- A Small, but Busy Group

Post date: Aug 30, 2010 1:41:17 AM

Thursday night was a lean night for the group, but we made the most of it.

John Arnold (above, left) and Ken Ellison (above, right) explored Underworld with a USB camera. We are hoping to put several of these into service to help the dispatcher monitor this portion of the railroad.

Danny Garland (above, left) and Rodney Dixon (above, right) discuss operation while at Shreveport Yard.

Ken Ellison (above, red shirt) and Paul Harwell (above, black shirt) discuss photography view points at Sue City.

Ken Ellison displays a tank car which derailed and when the metal handrails shorted the track, a moderate hole was birned in a tank car. Should we have called the EPA or OSHA?

Paul Harwell (above, left) looks on while John Arnold (above, right) works on the installation of the USB camera at Underworld.

Mose Crews (above, red shirt) reviews the status at Underworld and the chaos at Robinson.

Here we she Mose Crews (above) working his train with the help of the Sue City local engine.

Here we see Danny Garland (above) was busy again in his regular place as the Shreveport Yard Master.

Ken Ellison (above) was busy at North Park switching out a cut of cars.

If it is BIG power that you are looking for, then Jason Busy (above, left) is the man you are looking for. Here Jason switches out a train in Sherwood.

Rodney Dixon (above) waits with his train in Jeauxville while Jason switches as Jason has the mainline and Rodney has now where to go.

The "lean team" from Thursday. Jason Busy (above, standing), Paul Harwell (above, left, black shirt and blue jeans), Danny Garland (above, left, shorts), Rodney Dixon (above, right, red shirt, no hat), Ken Ellison (above, right, cap) and Mose Crews (above, red hat).
