February 26th- Five Guests From Texas....

This weekend is the annual Louisiana Rail Run spearheaded by Art Houston of Houma, Louisiana. On their way five railroaders from the great state of Texas have dropped by to visit--

Jim "Gert" Muller

Tom Santella and

Clarence Zink.

Tonight's session was under the watchful eye of Chief Dispatcher David Colvin (below).

TRAIN 74- A SOUTH BOUND GRAIN TRAIN

Tonight was the first run of a pair of beautiful GE 8-40 B locomotives (above) which were painted especially for the Sue Line by Art Houston.

Here we see the motive power for Train 74 as it moves through River Front Yard.

The motive power for Train 74 is waiting for clearance by the dispatcher

to enter the mainline at Ashby Junction.

Here we see the power for Train 74

as it passes on the mainline behind BUSY Yard.

Train 74 is given clearance at South Morgan.

Train 74 is seen of the mainline at Brandon.

Train 74 is seen on the mainline at Robinson.

Train 74 is seen on the east mainline entering Sue City.

Train 74 is picking up cars from Trinity Heights Gain

on the north end of Sue City.

Having left Sue City, Train 74 passes through Crawley's Ridge.

Train 74 is next seen entering RCX.

Here we see Train 74 as it leaves RCX.

Next we see Train 74 in Leming.

Next we see Train 74 passing under Black Bridge.

Train 74 passes by Crews Siding.

Train 74 passes is passing E-B Tower, just north of Maryville.

Train 74 is awaiting clearance at Pinecrest.

Next we see Train 74 on the mainline in North Park.

Train 74 has taken the track into Dutchman Falls,

but Sherwood is seen in the distance.

As Train 74 leaves Dutchman Falls, the refinery of the

Doran OIl and Gas (The DOG) can be seen at

Sherwood in the distance.

As Train 74 leaves Dutchman Falls, we see the

remainder of the train as the session draws to a close.
