Post date: Aug 20, 2011 7:52:17 PM

What a week! So many friends and two new guests come to visit the Sue Line. First was Charlie Brown, yes that is his real name, and his wife (below).

.

They live in Dallas, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. Charlie is A CSX engineer and is currently teaching a class of new engineers for the CSX. This class is four weeks long and includes work on the CSX simulators. Unfortunately due to a small bit of bad timing, they were her Wednesday and missed seeing the railroad.

But on Thursday, back again for the second time this year, was our good friend from Jefferson, Texas, Ed Joseph (above).

Coming with Ed Joseph was Jerry Jones (above) also from Jefferson, Texas.,

Joining us tonight all the way from Tulsa, Oklahoma was Victor Pinamonti (above).

Also making the trip from Tulsa, Oklahoma, was Greg MvKillip (above).

As usual, Jim Willis (above) kept the trains moving at Alexandria Yard.

Danny Garland (above) was the MoP and kept trains moving in and out of Maryville.

Mose Crews (above) was equally busy at Sue City as the Sue City Operator.

Charlie DeVillbiss (above) was the Shreveport Public Operator at Keithville.

David Colvin (above) was busy all night as the Shreveport Yard Operator.

The mainline was kept busy by six engineers. Here we see Sue Line regular Lionel Brangham (above, right) running his train as guests Victor Pinamonti (above, left).

Ken Ellison (above) is busy working his train in North Park.

Rob Robbins (above), who came straight from Hallsville, Texas,

where he teaches physics is about to work his train.

As usual, Charles Kneipp (above) was running train when he was not under the layout

as we see here fixing a problem in Alex Yard.

Also on the mainline crews was Sue Line regular Paul Harwell (above, center) see workin with guest Greg McKillip (above, left) and guest Jerry Jones (above right).

Running one of his last session for awhile was Matt Tessier (above, file photo). Matt will be leaving for college at University of Louisiana Monroe after the session. Matt supplied the photos this evening and forgot to get a shot of himself. Matt be safe and come back soon.

SHOTS ALONG THE WAY.....

It appears that the scenery elf has been at it again as more scenery has arrived in Pinecrest.

A local pulls past pine trees on the island in Baffin Bay.

Train 70, The Tank Train arrive in Robinson behind a KCS loco.
