September 1st- Another small group, again BIG FUN

Post date: Sep 05, 2011 10:21:31 PM

The late days of summer are not only taking their tole with the unrelenting heat, but end of summer trips have decreased the size of the Sue Line Group. Eight brave souls were there this week.

The man of the hour wasn't even at the session this week. A BIG thank you to John Arnold (above), file photo, of JSA Computers for successfully performing a "brain transplant" to the computer. What a difference a new hard drive makes.

Now on with our story,

The south end of the railroad was kept flowing once again by Jim Willis (above).

Rob Robbins (above) as the MOp helps things moving in Maryville, Lake Hamilton and up the E-branch.

Danny Garland (above) once again performed excellently as the Shreveport Yard Master and kept trains moving in Shreveport and Blanchard as well as on the Shreveport Public Belt in Keithville.

Paul Harwell (above) is busy in Jeauxville as one of the four mainline crews.

Lionel Brangham (above), also a mainline engineer, is busy working cars from his train in Sue City.

Charles Kneipp (above) is making one of his rare appearances above ground as a mainline engineer working his train in Brandon.

Ken Ellison (above) was the fourth mainline engineer and can be seen with his train passing thru Sherwood.

Ken Ellison also provided the photos of this session- Many Thanks Ken.

SHOTS ALONG THE WAY......

A local train on the trestle near Baffin Bay works thru the maze of trees.

Jim Willis (above, left) and Paul Harwell (above, right) share space while "working on the railroad".
