Several participants in this years Louisiana Rail Run have stopped by a night early before the operations in Baton Rouge. Two groups stopped at the Sue Line. One group flew from Denver to Houston and then drove to Shreveport. The are:

on the E-Branch as the Maryville Operator (MOP).

Dan Kampsniper (above) is bringing his train into Maryville.

Craig Schwabauer (obove) is checking his switch list before working Pinecrest.

The other group drove over from Dallas. They are:

Tom Santella (above) seen at the pre-operation briefing.

Jim (Gert) Muller, the Alexandria Yard Master for the evening,

rounded out the visiting groups.

THE HOME TEAM:

Mose Crews (above) worked as the Shreveport Yard Master.

Lionel Brangham (above left) and Rodney Dixon (above, right)

worked as a team on the Shreveport Public Belt.

Danny Garland (above) was the Sue City Operator for the evening.

Jim Willis (above) spent the evening as the North Park Operator.

Paul Harwell (above) is checking his train before leaving.

Charlie DeVillbiss (above)  also spend the evening with trains on the mainline.

Rob Robbins (above) checks his train in Sherwood on the mainline.

Ron Brannon (above) awaits a mainline train.

Marvin Bennett, Jr. (above, foreground) gets some pointers from

Danny Garland (above, background) on using the WiiThrottle.

When not busy as the maintenance department,

Ken Ellison (above) was also on the mainline.

Has anyone seen Train 941?

Most of the evening was under the control of

David Colvin (above) as the Chief Dispatcher.

There is a rumor that most of the

"heavy lifting" as dispatcher

was actually done by Rob Robbins.

Who knows?
