Post date: Apr 22, 2012 2:3:38 PM
Although my birthday is not until April 30, the Sue Line Group decided to give me a Pre- Birthday Party complete with cake, cards and friendship.
As to who might have been responsible for this undertaking, I would guess....
Ron Brannon (above), who as Assistant Dispatcher
Jim Willis (above), who was Alexandria Yard Master, or
Ken Ellison (above), switching in Shattuck,
who was "Keeper of the Ring" for this session.
Others attending were:
Mose Crews (above in black shirt) the Shreveport Yard Master.
Here Mose Crews is helping mainline engineer Rodney Dixon in Pinecrest.
Lionel Brangham (above) who was also a mainline engineer.
Lionel Brangham is reviewing his paper work before
heading out on a south bound train.
Rob Robbins (above) who was a mainline engineer.
Rob Robbins is seen heading north bound into Dutchman Falls.
Marvin Bennett, Jr. (above) who is seen checking his train
in I-49 Yard before heading out on the mainline.
Rodney Dixon (above) is seen in Pinecrest,
getting an update on the use of the T5000E.
Charlie DeVilbiss (above) appears to be enjoying
his turn as the Maryville Operator (MOp)
Danny Garland (above) was hard at work
with his WiiThrottle as the Sue City Operator.
The session came to a perfect ending as the group shared
stories about the history of the Sue Line group.
