May 6th- Almost there and first DCC locos arrive
Post date: May 11, 2010 3:53:57 AM
There a still a few bugs to work out, but the Sue Line Team is nearing completion of the installation phase of the ungrade project.
The first Sue Line based locos have arrive, than to David Colvin and Jim McClure. NoLaCRA (North Louisiana Connecting Railroad Association) units 903, 906 and 907 were delivered with DCC decoders. 903 and 907 were silent, but 906 was equipted with a Digitrax sound decoder and it sounded great. Needless to say they were the highlight of the evening.
We now have two radio throttles in service and both David Colvin (above left) and Ken Ellison (above right in blue shirt) along with Jason Busey (above left in white shirt) are enjoying their use.
Both Rob Robins (above left) and Jim Willis (above right) seem happy that the "final" bugs are out of the ZoneMaster installation. Now they can move on to other things such as installing the radio units.
One of many conferences that we held, this one with Ken Ellison (above in blue shirt), Jason Busey (above in white shirt) and Danny Garland (above in red shirt).
Paul Harwell and his newest addition to the Sue Line sleet a 45 tonner fully ready for running with DCC. Can you tell which is which (Paul or the 45 tonner)?
Question of the week.
Can you name this Sue LIne member?
OK to click to enlarge if that will help.
