July 26th- Billyghoat comes to the Sue Line

It had been 12 years since David "Billyghoat" Spencer (below) from Wichita Falls, Texas, had visited the Sue Line, but oh, boy! was he back.
Also join the Sue Line crew was Johnnie J. Myers (below, right) is seen in Keithville with long time friend and Sue Line regular, Charlie DeVillbiss (below, left). Johnnie J. Myers is the author of "Texas Electric Railway", on of the finest interurban/trolley books ever published. He is also a lawyer, a labor relations consultant and was a vice president of DART in Dallas, Texas until a few years ago.
Mose Crews (above) was at his "regular" job of the Shreveport Yard Master.
Mose Crews was also the Maryville Operator (MOp).
Danny Garland (above) was "on station" as the Sue City Operator.
Jim Willis (above) spent the evening as the Alexandria Yard Master.
Rodney Dixon (above) appears to be enjoying his turn on the
Extra Board as his train is waiting for a signal to leave
Richardson headed Northbound.
Marvin Bennett, Jr. (above) appears to be "getting into it" as an
Extra Board engineer on this Southbound
train just north of Jeauxville.
Paul Harwell (above) was all smiles as he worked his Southbound
Mainline Train in North Park.
David Spencer (above) was the "Keeper of the Ring" for the
evening and is busy in Maryville working a cut of cars.
