Post date: Dec 23, 2013 6:31:6 PM

It was especially happy night for this writer as his youngest son, Joseph "Joe" Kamm (below) along with his wife, Rebecca Emge Kamm, and his daughter Lillian Eve Kamm. had arrived slightly before the session.

Also visiting the Sue Line was Dillon Stokes and his "Hiawatha" (below) .

A Southbound Freight

A southbound freight (above) is just moving behind Union Street Yard in Shreveport.

The two Kansas City Southern (KCS) SDS-50 locomotives are

moving past South Morgan and towards Brandon.

Two trains are noted waiting at the south end of Sue City.

The southbound freight is passing through Leming.

The two SD-50 road units are picking up cars in Maryville.

Random Shots of the Layout

It looks like business is picking up at the inter-modal facility in North Park.

It looks like the Z-train is about to pass a north bound freight

in Leming.

A train is heading off to Underworld.

A southbound freight enters Robinson.

Caught at work are Mose Crews (above, black hat)

as the Shreveport Yard Master and

River Front Yard Operator and

Charles Kneipp (above, left) at work

doing maintenance as usual.

River Front Yard (left),

NoLaCRA Yard (center, behind signal bridge), and

Ginnings Yard (right)

The session was under the direction of Assistant-Chief

Dispatcher David Colvin (above, right) as

Chief Dispatcher Richard Kamm(above, left) looks on.

This car has been running rails of the Sue Line for many years,

but the is the first time it was highlighted.

A very special "THANK YOU" to my

son, Joseph "Joe" Kamm for taking

the photos of this session.

Rumor has it that another special guest from the early days

of the Sue Line will be with us next week.
