September 16th- A Good Session

You know how every now and then everything goes "clicks" and you have a great time- Thursday was one of those sessions.

David Colvin (above) moved from his usual dispatcher position to the Sue City Operator and the trains began to roll.

As usual, Danny Garland (above) went straight for the Shreveport Yard Operator position. Danny had it "easy" for a couple of weeks, but not Thursday, as train after train arrived at Shreveport for reclassification. Way to go Danny!

On the other end of the railroad, at Alexandria Yard, Jim Willis also kept trains moving. Please check out the new 0-5-0 than Jim was using on occasion!

The main line was ruled by Rob Robbins (above, top, left), Charlie DeVillbiss (above, middle, center) and Matt Tessier (above, left).

While to Extra Board was driven by Rodney Dixon (above, left) and Ken Ellison (above, right, red shirt) seen along with Rob Robbins (above, right, black shirt).

Paul Harwell (above) keep everything "on the track" at Maryville as the Maryville Operator.

Charles Kneipp, a/k/a Cyclops, (above) continued to troubleshoot wiring problems. This time he was in the north end of the staging yards.

Near the end of the session, David Colvin (above) returned to help with the dispatching duties.

STAR OF THE WEEK!!!!!!!!!

Miss Sarah Riannon Kamm, grand daughter of Richard Kamm, turned six as the star of a "ladies tea" provided by her parents on September 10, 2010.

Highlights of the party were a personalized Alice in Wonderland dress prepared by my wife, Sue Kamm, and a pink bike, provided by my son, Dr. Richard Kamm, Jr.
