Post date: Nov 07, 2013 11:50:28 PM
What a wacky night, but the treats were:
1 UP 3985- Steam runs the rails-
Thanks to Dillon Stokes the Sue Line Rails were graced by the pride of the Union Pacific Engine #3985.
Here we see the mighty Union Pacific # 3965 (above, right) blast by a Sue Line local at South Sherwood.
The Union Pacific # 3985 seen is entering the yard area.
The Union Pacific #3985 ends its run in NoLaCRA Yard (above).
2 Trick or Treat-
Caught in Pinecrest the author is unknown.
3 Engines running on Halloween-
In addition to the Union Pacific, a new Dorcheat and Lake Bistineau (D&LB) (above).
A consist of Norfork Southern (NS),
Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF),
Southern Pacific (SP) and
Kansas City Southern (KCS) (above)
gets ready to run.
The local switcher at Sue City on lease
from Kansas City Southerm (KCS) (above).
The Shreveport Public Belt (SPB) (above) is busy as usual.
Is that a Halloween party we spot on board?
The Gold and Black Sue Line Scheme (above).
The Red, Black and White Sue Line Scheme (above).
There are even a pair of EMD demonstrators (above) on duty.
Also spotted is a UP (Ex-MKT) unit.
4 Another Quest-
Up from Baton Rouge and the Mid-South Model Railroad Club,
Chris "Casey" LeBlanc joint us for the evening.
5- Things seen Halloween night-
How did they get up there?
It this place haunted?
How about this place is it haunted?
This place may not be haunted, but there are some "spirits" here.
How could Halloween be complete without a game of "cow tipping".
Many thanks to Jim Willis for this weeks photos.
I have to go almost time forr tonights session.
