Post date: Jul 15, 2012 3:27:45 AM
We the anniversary behind us, the Sue Line Crew settled in for what they do best- Have FUN and run trains.
Marvin Bennett, Jr. (above) is moving his train through Sue City.
Rodney Dixon (above) appears to be enjoying his train
as he approaches South Morgan.
Rob Robbins (above) was this week's "Keeper of the Ring"
and is switching his train in Maryville.
Charlie DeVillbiss (above) is carefully watching his train
as it heads north bound into Sue City.
Ken Ellison (above) is working his north bound train in Robert's Crossing.
Ken Ellison provided the photos of tonight's session. Many thanks.
Jim Willis (above) appears to be having fun as he uses a pair of CSX
units to switch Alexandria Yard.
Danny Garland (above) is checking his paper work as he switches
Maryville as the Maryville Operator (MOp).
David Colvin (above) was the Sue City Operator, but
for some reason is over in Robinson.
Mose Crews (above) kept the train rolling in Shreveport as
the Shreveport Yard Operator.
The Dispatcher for this session was Richard Kamm (above).
A DAY WITH THE HERD AT ROBERT'S CROSSING
The track plan (above) is simple for Robert's Crossing.
Just before sun-up it was the classical animals versus machine.
At sunrise, the humans joined in.
Hay was being gathered adn a new calf is rounded up.
After noon, the herd begins to gather in the shade.
As they do most afternoons, the herd gathers
in the low lands to wait for rain.
As the day draws to a close,
the herd seeks out shelter for the night.
A SPECIAL THANKS TO DAVID COLVIN
Seen here, David Colvin (above) uses the
third district track to test a new mechanism for
the Dorcheat and Lake Bistineau (D&LB) switchers.
