November 4th- Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Back to WORK We Go....

The group had been concentrating on running trains for several weeks, but there were some little things which had gone undone.
Reminiscent of the movie Network, last week Mose Crews (above) had said "I've had all the fun I can stand pushing the trains around in Alex". Mose had finally mentioned the elephant which was sitting in the middle of the train room- we were not through with our work!
Things changed rapidly,
Charles Kneipp (above) took out his "Mister Blinkie" and began working on the track problems in NoLaCRA Yard.
Ken Ellison (above) got out his ammeter and began checking the wiring to the Zone Masters in the Alex area.
Soon after arriving, Ron Brannon (above) had taken a screwdriver in hand and was correcting some of the loose connections from the Zone Masters to the layout.
Paul Harwell (above, left) and Charles Kneipp (above, right) next were removing light panels to add a missing light par in the Maryville area.
Charlie DeVillbiss (above, left) and Jim Willis (above, right) reviewed plans befor completing the wiring of the new light fixture.
Soon Charlie DeVillbiss (above) was completing the installation of the new light fixture.
Much was also going on downstairs in the 3rd District. Rodney Dixon(above, left) was observing as Danny Garland (above, center) was making cuts in the modules of the 3rd District. Paul Harwell (above, far right) was also busy adjusting the various modules.
Mose Crews seemed to be everywhere- Discussing potentials with Paul Harwell in the 3rd District (above. left), checking the dispatcher panel (above, center) and at Leming overseeing the trains currently in town (above, right).
By the end of the night, the Zone Masters were carefully corrected and finally doing great.
Trains were finally running smoothly in Alex Yard of the Sue Line Crew (above, left) so that even Jim Willis (above, right) was happy.
Ron Brannon (above, gray hair), Ken Ellison (above, blue hat) and Rodney Dixon (above, background) had also begun re-routing some wiring in Robinson to make it easier to get to Underworld. From the looks of the photo on the right, they were successful.
Downstairs, the Business Section of the 3rd District had been set into place and the tracks were ready for final splicing of the rails.
Over all it was a good night, thanks to
the hard work of the Sue Line Crew.
