May 17th- A Night of Fun Followed by A Day of Sadness

On my way home from work Thursday,I called a fiend about having lunch on Friday. I had made this call many, many times over the past 20 years. He was not home and I left a message. I thought nothing of it at that time. Friday, I went to our usual place for lunch and he was not there. This had never happened before.

I tried ad tried to call him. I went by his place. He truck was there. His mail was there. No answer. I then called Ken Ellison who is also a volunteer Caddo Parish Deputy Sheriff. He made come calls. The Shreveport Police cam, the EMT's came. The Firemen came. After entering his house, he was found. He had a stroke and had fallen. As I write this he is in a local hospital and may never come home again.

Enough of the sadness, there is always time for sadness.

Thursday was another night of fun for the Sue Line Crew.

Matt Tessier (above) was home from college, his first year complete.
