June 16th- Texans Come To Visit

It was a night for Texas visitors. Jim Norwood "Mr. KCS" in Ft. Worth (below) led the group that come to run trains with us this evening.

Jim was joined by Lloyd Kizer (below, left)and Tim Blackwell (below, right)

as well as Jim Aust (below, left, green shirt) and Ole Melhouse  (below, right).

In addition to our guests from Texas, Paul Hoge (below)a local visitor dropped by the rail fan.

The Texans took to the mainline with the exception of Jim Norwood (below)who tried his hand as the Maryville Operator (MoP).

Lloyd Kizer (below, left) running a train out of Richardson and later is seen switching in Sue City (below, right).

Ole Melhouse (below, left) is getting ready to leave Shreveport with a train. I hope Ole can get his money back o his shirt as the misspelled Sue Line!

Ole brought several of his derails (below, right). Many thanks for the derails and the uncoupler devices.

Tim Blackwell (below,left) switching a train in Jeauxville and later Tim is seen headed from Shattuck to Sue City (below, right).

Jim Aust (below,left) is seen switching a train in Robert's Crossing and later Jim (below, right) is busy with his train in Jeauxville.

With the Texans in place, the Sue Line crew settled in to have some fun.

 Mose Crews (above) was in charge in Shreveport Yard.

Danny Garland (above) was the Shreveport Public Belt Operator.

Rob Robbins (above) kept traffic flowing as the Alex Yard Master.

Charlie DeVillbiss (above) was in charge of Sue City.

Working behind the scenes was David Colvin (above) who was using the SPROG to check decoders and speed match locos being added to the Sue Line Fleet.

Also doing loco maintenance was Lionel Brangham (above).

Taking the evening off from running, Rodney Dixon (above),

had a night of rail fanning.

Assistant Dispatcher for the evening was Matt Tessier.
